Welcome Statement to US New Round of Actions against Myanmar Military


On July 2, 2021, the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control announced the designation of 22 individuals connected to the Burmese (Myanmar) military and State administrative Council (SAC). Furthermore, on the same day, the US Department of Commerce added Wanbao Mining, Ltd., two of its subsidiaries, and King Royal Technologies to its Entity List since these entities provide revenue and/or other support to the Myanmar military.
